Step 1: Find a Mailing List on Datazapp

 

Datazapp.com is a third-party service that provides a variety of mailing lists.

  • Pricing: You don't need a subscription. You can pay as you go. For example, B2B lists with email and phone numbers can cost as little as 2 cents per record, while homeowner data can range from 2.5 to 4 cents per record.

  • Categories: The site offers many different list types, including B2B prospect data, consumer lists, political data, and various real estate lists (e.g., recent home buyers, absentee owners, etc.).

  • Run a Search:

    • Choose a data type, such as a homeowner list.

    • Select the data you want to include, like mailing address, phone, and email. You can also choose to have the phone numbers scrubbed against the do not call list.

    • Specify a geography by entering a zip code, city, or metro area.

    • Use advanced filters to get a highly specific list. You can narrow down your search by an AI-powered likelihood of selling, empty nester status, home equity, age, income, home value, and more.

  • Purchase and Download: Once your search is complete, Datazapp will show you the number of records found and the total cost. You can then purchase and instantly download the list as a CSV file.

 

Step 2: Upload Your List to Thanks.io

 

After you have your CSV file from Datazapp, you're ready to add it to your Thanks.io account.

  • In your Thanks.io dashboard, go to the mailing lists page.

  • Click "Add our list" and upload the CSV file.

  • The system will automatically try to map the data fields. Be sure to double-check this, especially the address fields.

  • Note on Absentee Owners: Datazapp lists may include both a mailing address and a property address. Make sure you map the correct mailing address to the address field in Thanks.io to ensure your mail gets to the owner, not the property itself.

  • Once the fields are mapped correctly, the list will be uploaded and ready to use for your mail campaigns.
